The Atlanta Lions Club would like to thank our Guest Speaker Ms. Felicia A. Moore The President of The Atlanta City Council for coming and speaking to the club on Thursday. Ms. Moore spoke to the club about the current state of affairs in the city and how she plans on bettering our city. One topic she discussed is the upcoming Land Development and Building Permit Forum taking place on November 1st at the Old Council Chambers located at 68 Mitchell St SW Atlanta, GA 30303. Some other topics she discussed were the plans for the Atlanta Airport. As many people know the Atlanta airport is the busiest in the world but what many people might not know is that it is the most efficient in the world as well. There are talks about how the city may help the airport become more efficient and help with the traffic around the Airport.
