Founded on December 17th, 1920, the Atlanta Lion’s Club has the unique distinction of being the first Lion’s Club in the state of Georgia. Our club has a rich history of 83-plus years of SERVICE. 

Achievements

• In 1968 The Atlanta Lion’s Club was an instrumental piece of the creation of the NCAA Peach Bowl (now known as the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bow).
• The Atlanta Lion’s Club was among a select group of Georgia Lion’s Clubs that helped in the creation of the Georgia Lions & Lighthouse for the Blind.
• Our donations also helped in 1980 for the first corneal transplant to be performed on an infant
